Reno’s First Purpose-Built Interconnection Data Center

CENTRA is excited to announce the expansion of its interconnection platform with RNO2, Reno’s first purpose-built interconnection data center. With the recent acquisition of 265 Keystone, CENTRA is laying the foundation for a neutral, high-performance facility designed to meet the growing demand for low-latency connectivity in the region.

RNO2 will serve as a critical interconnection hub, providing direct, low-latency access to leading networks, content platforms, and cloud providers. Designed to support high-density edge deployments and AI workloads, the facility will offer scalable infrastructure to meet the evolving needs of our customers.

Key Design Features Include:

  • Four diverse conduit entrances to ensure redundant fiber paths for maximum resiliency.

  • 2N power architecture delivering full redundancy for mission-critical operations

  • Carrier-neutral connectivity, enabling businesses to optimize network performance and reduce latency

“Our vision for RNO2 is to create a highly connected interconnection hub that strengthens Reno’s role in the digital infrastructure ecosystem,” said Shelly Greco, VP of Sales at CENTRA. “By bringing a purpose-built facility to this market, we are enabling businesses to deploy AI-driven applications, scale cloud strategies, and enhance digital transformation efforts.”

As Reno continues to grow as a key colocation hub, RNO2 will give our customers the interconnection infrastructure they need to scale their digital operations, optimize network performance, and deploy next-generation technologies.
